Palm Trees
Palm trees are a key aesthetic to the design of urban green areas in the Middle East. However, as large plants, they can prove extremely difficult to water and irrigate.
Our Permavoid system can form part of a passive irrigation water network that allows for a very shallow depth solution. If installed at the base of the palm tree, Permavoid provides water to the roots of the plant via capillary action.
This moisture controlled sub surface irrigation requires no energy for sprinklers or pumps and eliminates water loss due to surface evaporation, saving costs on water, maintenance, replanting and energy consumption.
