DEWA Research & Development Centre & Laboratory selects Polypipe’s Polystorm

The largest single-site solar park in the world, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, supports Dubai’s strategy to transform the region into an international hub for clean energy and green economy.

Its Research & Development (R&D) Centre & Laboratory, due to be completed by 2020, needed a stormwater management system to manage surface water on the project to protect it from localised flooding in the future.

Polypipe Middle East was chosen by the client, as they wanted an experienced and credible supplier based in the region. In addition, Polypipe Middle East could meet the project timeline, through efficient delivery of materials in line with site requirements, and fast installation of Polystorm units, compared to traditional systems such as aggregate or concrete.
