At the heart of Heriot-Watt University lies a commitment to sustainability and innovation. This commitment was notably showcased at this year's Climate Hub event, a 13-day exhibition at Heriot-Watt University Dubai campus, coinciding with the UN Climate Change Conference, COP28, hosted by the UAE.

During the event, we proudly showcased our collaboration with the university and our joined research project. Remarkably, our exhibition stand attracted the attention of His Royal Highness King Charles III. Polypipe Middle East Managing Director, Adam Smith, even had the honour of presenting the joint research project currently underway with the Centre of Excellence in Smart and Sustainable Construction to the King, who expressed notable admiration for the initiative!

Heriot-Watt University's Centre of Excellence in Smart and Sustainable Construction (CESC) have been in partnership with Polypipe Middle East for many years to act in favour of a more sustainable future by delivering a revolutionary research project that showcases the sustainable impact of blue/green infrastructure in the Middle East. Polypipe Middle East and CESC share a common goal of brining together academic research and industry expertise to pave the way in the region and to lead this transformation in the build environment by bringing technology and innovation that changes the region's construction industry for a more sustainable future.
